Under the leadership of CIPA Council member Greg Iceton (Dehns), the D&I Committee will ensure that diversity and inclusion is a key element of CIPA’s membership strategy. The work of the committee will include:
Greg says:
I am delighted that I have been appointed as the Chair of the new Diversity and Inclusivity (D&I) Committee at CIPA. We are looking for members to join this exciting new committee that strives to ensure that we have a positive and supportive environment for members, so that every single one of you feels that they are treated equally, and can access the same opportunities.
The D&I Committee will provide a focal point for our members across all of the protected characteristics identified in the Equality Act. CIPA’s strategy will ensure that our policies and practices are improved and reflect any concerns that our members may have.
If you are interested in joining the committee, which I envisage will be fully virtual owing to the fact that I live in Munich, then please contact [email protected]. Although we have some way to go to get this up and running, I am sure that with your support we will be able to access regular meetings and discuss potential improvements to address the D&I concerns of our members.
Looking forward to hearing from you!
