Dr. Zelnik is board certified in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation with expertise in musculoskeletal and pain medicine and a wide range of skills within the traditional medical field as well as within Complementary & Alternative Medicine. She currently the Center Medical Director for Concentra Urgent Care in Oklahoma City. Her passion for integrative healthcare led her to complete the University of Arizona Fellowship in Integrative Medicine in 2017. Faced with challenges in finding employment as an integrative specialist, Dr. Zelnik considered starting her own practice or transitioning to a medical executive leadership career. She ultimately decided to pave her own way in the field. She completed the Duke Leadership Program in Integrative Healthcare in 2019. She successfully led a pilot project for team-based integrative medicine care for those with chronic illnesses at the Absentee Shawnee Tribal Health System from 2018-2019. She is a book author, conference speaker, and writer contributor to journal articles. She is in the process of launching Healing Works LLC, a platform for the Integrative Self-Care Movement. She prides her herself as being a visionary and advocate. The word "spirituality" means different things to different people. It is nondenominational to me. 
For me, it is an experience of expansiveness and oneness with all creation and available to everyone in different forms but existing in its one true form, love. I believe science and spirituality can exist together, just as quantum physics and relativity theory do. True health and healing depend on a deeper connection to love as well as available medical treatments. One is just as important as the other. Our society is starting to shy away from connection right at the moment when we all need it the most. 
I have dealt with many emotional challenges over the years based on reliving my past experiences over and over again without being able to let go. I have also been trapped in prison of my own limiting beliefs. Committing to growing for the better is an everyday journey with many ups and downs. Fortunately, after years of investing in my spiritual growth, the ups finally outnumber the downs. 
Perhaps a deeper mission and meaning for me is to be a beacon of hope to others so they can finally see the light shining through the once opaque glass. Once the light shines through, they will be amazed at the beautiful rainbow colors that represent their life.
